ABOUT THE MEETING:

The recently expanded and renovated Hall of Fame & Museum, adjacent to Great American Ball Park (home of the Reds since 2003) features 9 galleries, over 100 display cases and 7,500+ artifacts which tell the story of the 150 year-old Cincinnati Reds as well as the history of baseball itself. Exhibits include the Negro League, the 1869 Red Stockings, Reds uniforms/equipment over the years, timelines of Reds championship teams, a large archive of baseball cards, interactive broadcast booths, a 3-story wall with 4,256 baseballs (one for each hit by Pete Rose) and various player awards.

The Hall of Fame itself is a 360-degree interactive theater and gallery that honors all 89 inductees and trophies from the Reds’ five World Series wins.

This will be a self-guided tour. Cincinnati IEEE Senior Member Bob Morrison, a volunteer at the Museum, will serve as a docent for the tour.

(When making reservations, please inform us if anyone attending has special needs such as a wheelchair, etc. There will be walking involved.)
