ABOUT THE MEETING:   

Methods of producing energy will be discussed, including solar, wave, wind, and other renewable resources, including the present and future limitations of each type.  The discussion will include the use of electric plug-in cars as well as hybrids.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:  

Dr. Marwan Nusair has worked in the design of RF and microwave antennas and circuits since 1982.  Before that he was an instructor and post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto Physics Department.  He obtained his doctorate in theoretical physics from the University of Cincinnati in 1978, and his MS from the American University of Beirut in 1973, with a BS(Hons) and MS(Hons) from Cambridge University prior to that.

 LOCATION:  Raffel’s is located at 10160 Reading Road, south of Glendale-Milford Road on the east side of Reading. Take I-75 to the Glendale-Milford Rd. Exit, go east on Glendale-Milford Road approximately ¾ of a mile to Reading Rd. and turn right on Reading.

 PE CREDITSDepending on the subject matter, attendance at IEEE Cincinnati Section Meetings now qualifies the attendee for Professional Development Hours towards renewal of Professional Engineers Licenses. Required documentation will be available following the meeting!  The Section Meetings also provide a great opportunity to network with fellow engineers in the area.
