INDUSTRIAL APPROACH TO INDOOR AGRICULTURE

ABOUT THE MEETING:   Indoor agriculture has been around for a long time, but is changing to meet the needs of the modern world. Specifically, there is a great deal of technology involved to maximize the amount of food grown per acre while reducing resource consumption. This presentation will discuss one approach to solving the problem.  (PLEASE NOTE THE DAY IS CHANGE TO FRIDAY FOR THIS MEETING)

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:  Robert Schindler, PE has wide experience in the industrial and institutional built environment. His specific experience with this topic was as the lead electrical engineer for 80 Acres Farms, an indoor vertical farming company based in Hamilton, Ohio.

PE CREDITS:  Depending on the subject matter, attendance at IEEE Cincinnati Section Meetings now qualifies the attendee for Professional Development Hours towards renewal of Professional Engineers Licenses.  Required documentation will be available following the meeting if qualified!  The Section Meetings also provide a great opportunity to network with fellow engineers in the area.
